About us

Appalled by the amount of fashion items ending up in landfill, the contribution of the fashion industry to climate change and the work conditions for many in the fashion industry, we turned to our favourite hobby and pastime - shopping for clothes... in charity shops!We had fun - styling our own looks, upcycling, mending second hand clothes that we found and making clothes from vintage fabrics.We read and researched further the impact of the fashion industry on our beloved planet.
And along came our our lightbulb moment.......DING ( or FLASH)!
'Why don't we share our sustainable/eco knowledge, passion and (dare I say it - our style) with others?'
So eco-mio was born.
Our philosophy is buy, love, keep and mend.
